Snapfit Detachable Trash Can

Snapfit

Snapfit is a detachable trash can for household use. Six parts are assembled in thirty seconds without tools. The main shell is made of environmentally friendly stainless steel. The top cover, base and raising legs are made of degradable plastic. The legs can be added or removed to suit different heights and to avoid bending. The lid can be opened by sensing or touch, so manual contact is avoided. When fully disassembled, the packaging volume is reduced by seventy percent, which lowers transport costs and reduces damage and packaging waste.

Diagonal Table

Diagonal

Diagonal is a desk designed around a single geometric idea, the diagonal line that joins two opposite corners. The tabletop is made of plywood with walnut veneer, and the veneer pattern follows the same diagonal guide. The two stands are made of steel with a powder coated finish, and both stands are placed along the same line. The main structural skeleton is hidden inside the tabletop and carries the load through three short columns to the stands. A bevelled edge and a gap between top and stands make the surface appear to float.

Lydia Chair

Lydia

Lydia is a chair designed as part of a furniture series for home interiors. The form is inspired by the appearance of an elephant, and the full soft upholstery gives a comfortable and reliable feeling. Colour is used as the main styling element, since colour has a direct emotional effect on users. The iron frame uses a suspended and detachable structure. The soft upholstery can be washed and replaced, so a chair that becomes dirty or worn can be renewed instead of discarded. Flat packaging reduces transport costs, and shared modules support standardised production.

Bubble Chair

Bubble

Bubble is a chair conceived as a collectible art object for private homes and public interiors. The rounded shapes suggest inflated softness, yet the frame is cast by hand from robust aluminium, creating a contrast between appearance and material. Aluminium was selected for its plasticity, which the designer considers the most alive of materials. The chair is produced through handcraft and casting, and the surface is satin finished for a matte sheen. Eight months and eighty kilograms of metal were needed, giving the seat a unique texture.

Balustrade Chair

Balustrade

Balustrade is a chair designed for short and temporary rest. The design is inspired by unconscious behaviour, such as leaning on a table or against a balustrade. Balustrade offers two sitting positions. The first is sitting directly on the top, like a chair. The second is a leaning posture, like leaning on a railing. The form is simple, and the intent is brief use rather than long comfort. Several units can be overlapped to reduce transport volume. The chair measures 620 by 385 by 720 millimetres.

Minus Stool

Minus

Minus is a backless chair created by subtracting material from a basic cubic shape. The result is a minimalist form with smooth, flowing surfaces. Each surface change serves an ergonomic purpose. A lower curve provides a resting place for the feet. An upper indentation improves seating comfort. A scooped back and the top curve act as handles, so Minus can be lifted from the floor with ease. The body is made of plastic, finished with a light blue metallic coating or with marble patterns applied by hydro dipping.

Colored Finch Chair

Colored Finch

Colored Finch is a chair inspired by the shape of a finch. The backrest appears straight from the front and curves at the sides, combining form and comfort. The backrest and seat are made of handmade multi-layer wood, shaped as double-layer curved wood. The legs are metal tubes covered with layers of handmade fabric. The limited use of non-renewable materials in the legs supports environmental care. Sixteen prototypes were built, and a test dummy was used to study seating positions and set the final size. The chair measures 490 mm in width, 550 mm in depth and 810 mm in height.

Long Time Wall Clock

Long Time

Long Time Clock is inspired by the captivating art of kirigami, a traditional Japanese technique that beautifully combines folding and cutting paper. Just like in kirigami, this clock is a blend of art and functionality. The cutting and folding technique allows for the creation of Roman numerals on the clock's sides. As a result, the numerals themselves seem to leap out of the metal strip, creating a play of positive and negative areas. Made from a laser-cut strip of aluminum, the clock has been sustainably designed to minimize material waste.
