Tondo
Tondo is a sofa designed as a sculptural seating piece for interior spaces. The form is inspired by the sphere, a basic geometric shape associated with perfection and infinity. Spheres shape the backrest, while the rounded seat wraps around the body and supports relaxed postures. The sofa measures 3600 mm wide, 2000 mm deep and 870 mm high. Construction uses reforestation wood, natural latex and a seamless fabric cover with recycled elastane. The flexible lining allows the surface to adapt to the body, joining comfort with a distinct visual presence.
Tondo Sofa by Anna Maya has been featured as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Tondo Sofa received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that recognizes superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
