Toosa
Tooska is a portable multifunctional furniture piece designed for personal use in small living spaces. Tooska can be assembled in a few easy steps and used as a chair or as a stretcher for rest and short sleep. In the folded state, the piece serves as a simple seat, and belts hold the parts together for carrying. The design is made of light and strong wood, shaped by cutting and bending, and it uses no complicated connections. In chair mode, the piece measures 520 mm in width, 330 mm in depth and 500 mm in height.
Toosa Multifunctional Furniture by Esmail Ghadrdani has been identified as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Toosa Multifunctional Furniture was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize which honors outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
