Couple Quilt
Couple Quilt is a bed quilt with two temperature zones in a single piece. One zone is lighter and more breathable, made with a cutting and piercing process that forms a micro air circulation system to release excess heat and moisture. The other zone uses a baffle box and fulling construction with micro-pressure technology to hold warmth closer to the body. The two zones are joined by a quilting process. Identification buckles at the four corners, square on one side and round on the other, allow each zone to be found by touch.
Couple Quilt Dual Temperature Control by Philip Lu was highlighted as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Couple Quilt Dual Temperature Control was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that recognizes excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
